The Values of Jerome Abrams

Every person has values, whether they share them openly or not. Jerome Abrams has his own set of values and they have influenced him his entire life.

Family Values

Jerome Abrams is a husband and father of three. He and his wife both work in the medical industry and have been married for 35 years. Both possess strong family values and raised their three sons to be successful, compassionate,community minded, and socially responsible adults..

Career Values

Building a strong and successful career was only part of Jerome Abrams’ goals. He wanted to be a physician who showed competence and compassion when working with patients. In a time where doctors are rushed to treat patients as fast as possible, Jerome Abrams takes time to understand the people he treats as unique individuals with their own family, community, and medical stories.

Community Values

Helping people in need is what pushed Jerome Abrams to enter the medical field. However, he does not stop caring for the well-being of others outside his office walls. He is a strong community leader who has spearheaded projects for children. He helped build a new community playground and spent over a decade working with the Dover Children’s Theater. Additionally, Jerome Abrams supported homeless men as a volunteer of Dover Interfaith Mission for Housing.

Personal Values 

Reaching out to help others is one of Jerome Abrams’ greatest personal values, but taking care of himself is important too. Besides caring for his family, he enjoys a number of personal hobbies including racquetball, photography, reading, and travel.
